Chianti in Musica has taken place every summer since 2006 in San Donato in Poggio, a medieval village halfway between Florence and Siena, in the scenic Tuscan countryside, offering instrumental and ensemble music courses and concerts. San Donato is listed among Italy's Most Beautiful Villages and offers the opportunity to experience life in a picturesque Tuscan village. Chianti in Musica 2025 will feature flute, oboe, clarinet, violin, viola, cello, guitar, piano, and choir courses from August 24 to 30. The courses include one individual lesson per day and encourage the formation of chamber groups. All teachers are internationally renowned and teach at Italian conservatories and international academies. A piano accompanist is also available. The choir course is open to musicians and amateurs, even without musical knowledge. Student concerts are held in the village's Gothic church every day in the late afternoon. A canteen is available to students and teachers at lunchtime.
