The 1st Vienna International Ignaz Anton Schuppanzigh Competition 2026 invites musicians from around the world to participate in this prestigious international competition dedicated to violin, viola, and string quartet performance.

Final Round
The Final Round is planned to take place live in Vienna in January 2027.

Winners’ Concert
The 1st Prize winner in each category will have the opportunity to perform live at the prestigious Mozarthaus Vienna Concert Hal.

*Audio and video recordings of the performance upon request
