International Salon Music Violin Competition “Violins&Soul”
AMADEUS Festival Vienna announces the second International Salon Music Violin Competition “Violins&Soul”, to give visibility, promote and support the BEST talented YOUNG MUSICIANS from all over the world. This competition also aims to, among other goals, encourage more young people to learn string instruments while continuing to support those who already play to reach greater heights through practice and performance. To bring to life again the charm of “Salon Violin Music”. OPEN CALL: 18.10.2024 - 18.03.2025 The grand prize winner will receive €5,000, along with a two-year loan of the 1709 Antonio Stradivari violin from the Goh Family Collection. The second prize offers €3,000, while the third prize includes €1,000.
