4th Alberto Lysy International Violin Competition Switzerland | Gstaad Posted 26 Jan 2026 Competitions Violin Created to promote young violinists worldwide and honour the legacy of the great violinist Alberto Lysy, the competition has become an international platform for emerging talents under 28. The 4th edition will feature a prestigious final with the St. Gallen Symphony Orchestra and offers winners 18,000 CHF in prizes, a four-year loan of a Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume violin, and concert opportunities at the Gstaad Menuhin Festival, NUME Festival and Festival Le Bois qui Chante. All rounds are open to the public and take place in Gstaad.
