Wiener Klavierforum Austria | Wien Posted 08 Jan 2026 Competitions Piano The International Piano Competition “WIENER KLAVIERFORUM” is dedicated to excellent amateur pianists aged 20 and above (no upper age limit) of all nationalities who do not (or no longer) earn their living through piano playing. (Music Students starting 2027).Founded by em. o. Univ.-Prof. Walter Fleischmann (MdW) and under the patronage of the Rector of the "Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna", the competition welcomes applicants regardless of whether they were trained at an institution or privately; a piano degree may be held but is not required. Applicants should consider their level to be comparable to conservatory standards or higher. Pre-selection (Video): 10–12 minutes of a free programme.
