Gregynog Young Musician United Kingdom | SHREWSBURY Posted 05 Aug 2025 Competitions Harp 2025 APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN The Gregynog Young Musician Competition has become a most prestigious annual event and this year will take place at:- THE MAIDMENT BUILDING, SHREWSBURY SCHOOL, SHREWSBURY, SHROPSHIRE. SY3 7BA. It is open to any student who plays an orchestral, brass band or percussion instrument including solo piano and have reached the standard of Grade 8 and above. Applicants must be 18 years of age or younger than the date of the competition. The overall winner will receive £3000 and the remaining four finalists £500 each. Semi-finalists who do not perform in the final will receive £50 towards their travel expenses. The entry fee is £40.
