Messina International Clarinet Competition – “Working in the Orchestra” The third edition of the competition will take place from October 13 to 19, 2025, at Teatro Vittorio Emanuele in Messina. Open to clarinetists of any nationality born after January 1, 1987, it features two sections: Clarinet and Bass Clarinet. The competition includes four stages: video pre-selection, live preliminary round, semi-final, and final with orchestra. Winners will perform as soloists in the Teatro’s 2026 season (with expenses reimbursed). Applications must be submitted by July 30, 2025, via the online form, including: signed form, valid ID, short bio (max 1400 characters), recent photo, proof of payment (€80), and video recording for the pre-selection.
