The Gregynog Young Musician Competition has become a most prestigious annual event and this year will take place at:-
THE MAIDMENT BUILDING, SHREWSBURY SCHOOL, SHREWSBURY, SHROPSHIRE. SY3 7BA.
It is open to any student who plays an orchestral, brass band or percussion instrument including solo piano and have reached the standard of Grade 8 and above.
Applicants must be 18 years of age or younger than the date of the competition.
The overall winner will receive £3000 and the remaining four finalists £500 each.
All other semi finalists competing on the day will receive £50 towards travel costs.
The entry fee is £40.
