Open to singers aged 18 to 35 from around the world, the competition consists of three stages: a preliminary video selection, a public semi-final, and a final gala concert during which the winners are announced. The repertoire celebrates the great international operatic tradition while placing special emphasis on the works of Ruggero Leoncavallo.
