The Florence Guitar Festival launches the new edition of the International Guitar Competition and International Composition Competition “Alvaro Company”, open to musicians and composers of all nationalities. Application deadline: September 15, 2025 (1) INTERNATIONAL FLORENCE GUITAR COMPETITION "ALVARO COMPANY" The competition includes the following categories: Cat. A: soloists under the age of 13 Cat. B: soloists aged between 14 and 17 Cat. C: adult soloists (no age limit) Cat. D: guitar ensemble (average age max 19 years) Cat. E: guitar ensemble (no age limit) Pre-selection will take place online, by submitting a video performance. The Final Rounds will be held in person in Florence on October 2nd, 2025.
