The position is a singular opportunity togenerate the organization’s future growth and play a significant role as its public face.The Executive Director will serve as the Orchestra’s Chief Administrative Officer and reportdirectly to the Board of Directors.Major responsibilities include: Development: Leading fundraising programs, including grants, sponsorships, annualgiving and donor relations, and pursuing new sources of revenue. Organizational Leadership: Managing operational aspects of the Orchestra, including,finance, personnel and volunteers. Marketing and Communications: Broadening recognition of the Orchestra within theregion and beyond, promoting Orchestra and Chamber Music concerts and specialevents. Community Engagement: Fostering partnerships with community organizationsthrough innovative programs.QualificationsExperience in non-profit management, preferably in performing arts administration, withproven success in fundraising, marketing and event planning. The ability to communicateeffectively, a passion for community engagement and a love of orchestral music are importantattributes for this position.CompensationThe part-time Executive Director will have flexible hours.
